Tara Sims, Principal and Founder
Tara Sims has been immersed in technology PR since 1996. During that time she’s worked with some of the biggest names in technology – Sun, IBM, HP – and gained a reputation for bringing a common-sense approach to public relations that emphasizes quantifiable results, crisp execution and frank counsel.
Since then, Tara has developed siliconPR into a full-service boutique technology agency that has led extremely successful, high-profile launches for companies including P.A. Semi, Tilera and MetaRAM.

Shruti Swamy, Assistant Account Executive
Shruti Swamy recently completed two internships at Apple Computers in the PR department. Prior to that, Shruti produced, designed and edited publicity materials for a rural health non-profit in India. She has also worked with a non-profit theater company in San Francisco writing and editing press releases, as well as executing grassroots web-based marketing strategy. Shruti Swamy is a graduate of Vassar College where she received her B.A. in English Literature. |
